He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arnold and Mary Mabel Martin (Siever). He is survived by: his close friend Kathy Deadmond of Centralia, Illinois; his children, John E. Martin (Laurie) of Centralia, Daniel Martin of Benton, Katherine Brandsma (Jim) of St. Charles and Lori Kissiar of Greenville, Illinois; his stepchildren, Michael Deadmond of Centralia, Illinois and Stacy Deadmond of Centralia, Illinois; and his brother Robert Martin of Normal, Illinois.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
The family asks that donations be given in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, in memory of John, and mailed to the Second Chance Animal Rescue, 1332 N. 1150 St., Vandalia, IL 62471. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in John 'Dick' Martin 's name.
