He was predeceased by: his father Jerome D. Sr. Lilly; and his grandparents, Rollins, Obnetta Currie (Robinson), Thomas and Fannie Lilly (Young).
He is survived by: his mother Kimberly Lilly (Currie) of Centralia; his sons, Jerome "JD" Lilly III, Kingston Lilly and Kailon Strayhorn; his siblings, Elton Mackey II (Malorie) of Peoria and Lauren Melissa Obnetta Thomas of Peoria; and his nieces and nephews, Akira Henderson, Eliza Mackey and Donivan Morris. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ward Chapel A. M. E. Church (511 North Richard Allen Drive, Peoria, IL 61605).
