He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Murray, Frank Szopinski and Anne Szopinski; his uncle Alan Stankus; and his aunt Elizabeth Kwiatkowski.
He is survived by: his parents, Henry Szopinski and Peggy Szopinski (Murray) of Nashville; his partner Carly Lashbrook of Texas; his daughters, Sunny and Starla Szopinski of Texas; his sister Tara Finke (Jason) of Nashville; his nieces, Daci and Degyn Finke of Nashville; his grandmother Kathryn James; and his aunts and uncles, Debbie Stankus, Bryan Murray (Amy), Allen Kwiatkowski, Leona Wroblewski (Ben), John Szopinski (Jennifer), James Szopinski, Louise Malawy (Don), Rosemary Witges (Gerald), Fran Beetly (Dale), Steve Szopinski (Judi), Tony Szopinski (Betty), Marion Szopinski (Holly) and Mary Senior-Frese.
