Jean Sloat Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2023, at the age of 90, Jean Sloat of Centralia, Illinois, born in Walnut Hill, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Flanigan and Leota Flanigan (Creed); her husband Harvey E. Sloat; her son Ben Sloat; her siblings, Lee Flanigan, Edward Flanigan (Butch) and Marilyn Jolliff; her brother-in-law Jerry Jolliff; and her nephew Jimmie "Jay Bird" Jolliff.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie S. Deadmond of Centralia; her daughter-in-law Terry Sloat of Cynthiana, KY; her grandchildren, Arron S. Deadmond (Traci) of Sandoval, Cindi Batson (H. D.) of Cynthiana, KY, Adam Deadmond (Millie) of Mt. Vernon, Britton Dye (Derek) of Cynthiana, KY and Vicki Berger of Centralia; her siblings, Joyce Schulte of Tucson, AZ and George Flanigan of Centralia; her sisters-in-law, Jackie Rightnowar (Don) of Centralia and Blanche Flanigan of Central City; and her great grandchildren, Brynlee, Banyan, Arwyn Batson, Benjamin, Harvie Dye, Carter Deadmond, Kaelie Hanselman, Lauryn Hanselman, Logan Hanselman and Kalissa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
