He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor D. Stanley and Luro Mae Stanley (White); his brother Charles F. Stanley; and his nephew Tom Stanley. He is survived by: his friend Janet Bruce; his brother Stephen Stanley (Jane) of Herrin, Illinois; his nieces and nephews, Donna, Jesse Mower, Tim, Katie Stanley, Monie Stanley, Paul, Charlene Hynes, Dale, Julie Stanley, Chris, Sandy Stanley and Kimberly Stanley; and also Daron Bruce. He is also survived by 16 great-nieces and nephews; and many extended family members, and friends.
Memorials may be made in Jay's honor to the Centralia Cultural Society or the First Baptist Church of Centralia.
