He was predeceased by: his mother Beulah Schaffer (Brammeier); and his siblings, Patsy Cook and Joe Schaffer. He is survived by: his father John Schaffer; his wife Carolyn Woods; his children, Scott Schaffer (Danielle) of St. Louis, MO, Danny Schaffer (Laura) of Coulterville, IL and Jackie; and his granddaughter Samantha. He is also survived by grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Macz Funeral Home - Centralia (234 S Elm St, Centralia, IL 62801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
