He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shelton and Velva Shelton (Branch); his former wife Sandra Shelton (Sturgeon); his grandson Michael Sanders; his sister Sharon Miller; and his nephew Mark Shaw.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Nancy Jones of Centralia; and his grandchildren, James Taylor, Sandra Ball, Spencer Greer (Lucy), Chad Sanders (Maleah), Bruce Greer (Kristen), Krista Cain (Mitch), David Sanders (Courtney), Drue Sanders and Dacota (Lauren Sanders).
