Hershel Higgins Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hershel Higgins Sr. of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Higgins and Ethel Cole (Parks); his former wife Diane Higgins (Brasket); his children, Hershel Ray Higgins, Jr., Patricia Higgins and Barbara Evans; his siblings, Eddie Higgins, Clyde Higgins, James Roy Higgins, Earl Higgins, Robert Higgins, Pearl Cooley and Lillian Taylor; his siblings-in-law, Orville Finckbone, Peggy Higgins and Marget Ray; and his parents-in-law, Roy and Peggy Finckbone.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Higgins (Finckbone); his children, James Higgins (Lisa) of Central City, Bill Higgins (April) of Centrralia, Jerrie Pfeister of Centralia and Terri Mays of Schoboner, IL; his sisters, Arlene Stringer (Randy) of Missouri and Jean Timmons (Mark) of Missouri; and his brother-in-law Albert Finckbone (Linda) of Centralia. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
