Helen Joyce Patton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Joyce Patton of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter W. Tabor and Zada F. Tabor (Mandrell); her husband Albert Patton; and her siblings, Sonny Tabor, Imogene and Kathleen.
She is survived by: her daughter Joan Watson (Charles) of Irvington; her sister Mary Ainscough of Centralia; her stepgrandson Marty Watson (Lisa) of Iuka; and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Jessica Koch (Jerry) of Dix and Stephanie Remer (Dave) of Woodlawn. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Due to local health mitigations, only 10 people are allowed to enter the Chapel at time, masks must be worn, and social distancing will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Helen to the Centralia Human Society and Eternity Baptist Church and will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street in Centralia (618) 532-3523 who is honored to be of service to the Patton Family.
