He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sr. Battle and Viola Battle (Mastin); his siblings-in-law, Forrestine Davis, Claude Wiggins, Johney Foster, Tommy Jackson and Will Graphreen; and his daughter Sylvia Lynn White.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wiggins; his children, Harry Jr. Battle (Michele) of Centralia, Marvin Battle (Sheila) of Edwardsville, Steven Battle of Centralia, David Battle of Centralia and Diamond Battle of Centralia, Illinois; his grandchildren, Tiana White, Darion White, Chantz Battle, Shaelyn Lawson (F'Sean Clark), Brandon Battle, Tanisha Battle and Maliyah Battle; his siblings, Irene Carter (James), Willie Jr. Battle (Peggy), Glenda Foster, Alice Jackson, Chaplain Battle of Florida, Sylvia Young (Robert) and Joe Martin; his siblings-in-law, Daris Smith, Ethel Graphreen, Willie Ben Jr. Wiggins (Cindy), Elvis Wiggins, Kenny Wiggins, Luther Wiggins, Vernon Wiggins, Marsha Heppner (David), Dolly Nall and Lizzy Burnnett (Gene); and his son-in-law Gerald White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
