He was predeceased by: his mother Jeanne Jackson (Bray); his stepmother Rose Jackson; his siblings-in-law, Ron Barnhart and Deborah Barnhart (Rogers); and his father-in-law Barney Barnhart.

He is survived by: his father John D. Jackson of Centralia; his wife Gayla Jackson; his daughters, Callie Jackson of Urbana and Dr. Brittany Dobill (Dustin) of Mulkeytown; his grandchildren, Cody Dobill of Mulkeytown, Carter Dobill of Mulkeytown and Sadie Dobill of Mulkeytown; his siblings, John A. Jackson of West Sacramento, Steve Jackson (Maryann) of Centralia and Kathy Bradford (Jason); his mother-in-law Shirley Barnhart of Centralia; and his siblings-in-law, Joy Barnhart of Bradenton, Ken Barnhart of Lenexa and Don Barnhart (Dawn) of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
