With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eric Bateman of Centralia, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the vast expanse of eternity, Eric shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eric farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Jerry A. Bateman. He is survived by: his mother Cindy Gnau (York); his children, Xander Tye Bateman and Meaghan Paige Bateman; his brothers, Jim Bateman (Shanna), Jaydon Bateman and Zach Timmons; his girlfriend Christina Abney; and his daughter Ambrozia Dee Thomas. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
