He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Klitzing (Rickett) and Belford William Klitzing; and his siblings, Debra Diane Klitzing, David Duane Klitzing, Delbert Dean Klitzing and Donald Dennis Klitzing.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Lu Ann Drone of Altamont; his nephew Nathan Klitzing (Annie) of Shiloh; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adelynn Jolene, Sophia Ann and Violet Emily; his nephew Nicholas Klitzing (Brittany) of Winnetka; his great-nephews, John David and Henry Edward; his niece Cassidy Lowry (Zachary) of Altamont; his great-nieces, Abigail Ann and Julia Marie; his great-nephew Andrew Dean; his nephew Cody Drone (Rebekah) of Shelbyville; his great-nephew Leo Joseph; and his nephew Shawn Drone (Paige) of Altamont. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Evangelical Lutheran Church (14026 N 500th St, Altamont, IL 62411). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul "Blue Point" Lutheran Church.
