He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Koelling and Ruth Koelling (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Sue Koelling (Running); his son-in-law John Denton; his grandson Garrett (Maynard); and his brother-in-law George Running (Brenda).
David requested that no flowers or plants be sent to the funeral home for his service.
