He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony "Pinky" Darin and Pearl Darin (Amidei); his wife Mary Darin of Centralia; his son Monsignor David Darin of Belleville; his sister Antoinette DeBernardi (Robert) of Centralia; his siblings-in-law, Josephine Cerny of Cobden, Illinois and John Gotta (Susan) of Naperville, Illinois; his sister Catherine Darin; his parents-in-law, Domenico and Maria Gotta; and his brother-in-law Richard Cerny. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Monday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Mary Church and due to the recent COVID Mitigations, a limit of 10 people at a time in the church for the visitation, masks will be worn and social distancing will take place.
In honor of Danny, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Church, St. Mary School, Calvary Cemetery Fund, or for Masses and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Darin Family.
