He is survived by: his mother Flossie Cooney (Ritchey) of Vandalia; his children, Kevin Mays (Rebecca) of VanBuren, Clifford "Chip" Oetjen (Tonya) of Centralia, Sherri Oetjen of Centralia, Lacea Swann, Casey of Pocahontas, Kayla Holder (Rickey) of Pocahontas and Jamie Throesch (Joseph) of Pocahontas, Arkansas; his siblings, Terry Oetjen (Carolyn) of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Barb Denning (Kent) of Shobonier and Dottie White (Logan) of Vandalia; his sister-in-law Cathy Oetjen of Pocahontas; and his close friend Kathy Hemmer of Centralia. He is also survived by 14 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, and 4 great-granddaughters.
