It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christina Gentz of Centralia, Illinois, born in West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nickoloff and Paulbina Nickoloff (Polinski); her husband Harold Lee Gentz; her daughter Christina "Tina" Gentz; her daughter-in-law Tammy Gentz; her great grandchild Laneigha Watson; and her sisters, Pauline Gray and Marie Wendell.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Cambryn Baker (Charles), Kelly Watson (Issac), Haley Gentz (Dathan), Eric Gentz II (Kayla) and Erin Pettus (Cameron); and her great grandchildren, Cole Gentz, Justyce Baker, Ja'Vari Baker, Samiyah Watson, Issac Watson, Adrian Watson, Kyson Gentz, Aurora Orrill, Cambell Pettus, Tate Gentz and Tripp Gentz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Gentz's memory to the Centralia Humane Society or Golden Age Senior Center in Centralia, Illinois and may be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
