He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Albert and Pearl Margaret Witzel (Sanders); and his siblings, Doris Trail, Elizabeth McNeill and Richard Witzel.
He is survived by: his wife Neva Witzel; his sons, Robert Witzel (Jodie) of Centralia, Brian Witzel (Michelle) of Mt. Vernon and Lesley Mahlandt (Jim) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Lindsey Coppler (James) of Atlanta, Georgia, Erin Witzel (Ethan Erickson) of Centralia, Hannah Hoffman (Jordan Grandview), Braden Mahlandt of Champaign, Spencer Witzel (Shelby Pigg) of Central City, Christian Witzel of Centralia, Meagan Mahlandt of Centralia, Alaina Mahlandt of Centralia and William Witzel of Centralia; and his great grandchildren, Trevor, Tripp, Aelin, Grayson and Margo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
