Charles Chambers Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Chambers Jr. of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on September 13, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Mabel Chambers (Boren) and Charles E. Chambers, Sr.; his sisters, Gladys Aussieker, Mae Hart, Thelma Laswell, Lil Ashenfelter and Margie Fuller; and his parents-in-law, Lowell Copple and Wilma Copple (Shaw).
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn June Copple; his children, Debbie Fischer (Mike) of St. Charles and Brad Chambers (Val) of Peoria, Illinois; his granddaughters, Sarah Barroway (Andy) of Scottsdale, Hannah Bonham (Steve) of Houston and Mary Roberts (Brandon) of Normal, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Ben Barroway and Silas Roberts; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Chambers of Morton, Illinois.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family asks those who are attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask, and take any health precautions necessary to ensure a healthy environment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Chambers' honor to the Calumet Street Christian Church in Centralia, Illinois and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
