She was predeceased by: her parents, B. V. Ivy and Ottie Ivy (Arnold); her husband James C. Goforth; her son Van Goforth; and her great grandchildren, Justen Barrow and Mitchell Keenan.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Goforth of Centralia, IL; her grandchildren, Tonya Kinder of Centralia, IL, Katrice, Larry Keenan of Long Island, NY and Gina Branon of Centralia, IL; her great grandchildren, Marissa, Ryan Schmitt, Tori, Joshua, Luke Keenan, Damon, Shane, Chase and Blade Branon; and her great great grandchildren, Harper, Camdyn, Holdyn, Carter and Bentley.
Memorials may be made in Charlene's honor to First Christian Church Disciples of Christ or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and will be accepted for the family at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
