He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Johnson (Maroon) and Sylvester Johnson; his wife Betty L. Hofstetter; his grandson Robert "Robb" Johnson; and his siblings, Jack Johnson, Calvin Johnson and Delores Hawley.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Johnson (Marsha), Jane Krutsinger (Doug), Janis Ferrari (Carl) and Bobby Johnson (Stacey); his grandchildren, Beth Boeker, Jennifer Cain, Kim Hart, Jill Schilling, Mason Bonner and Ashton Payne; his great grandchildren, Jack Boeker, Julie Berry, Jered, Jaelyn, Jesse Cain, Elizabeth, Emily, Elaina Hart, Karlie, Kate Schilling, Rylee McIntosh, Brantlee and Penelope Payne; and his brothers, Donnie Johnson (Becky) and Val Johnson (Jackie).
