He was predeceased by: his wife Pauletta Cross; his parents, Howard Hamburg and Ella Warren (Virgil Warren); his son Brian "Potsie" Potts; his siblings, Leroy Hamburg, James Warren, Donald Warren, David Warren, Ronald Warren and Sherrie Warren; his daughter-in-law Debbie Hamburg; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Benzschawel.
He is survived by: his son Jeff Hamburg (Krista Colliver) of Centralia; his grandson Hunter Hamburg (Megan) of Centralia; his stepgrandchildren, Mariska Mankle of Teutopolis, Kyle Mankle of Teutopolis and McKenzie Colliver of Centralia; his great grandchildren, Karder and Kacie; his siblings, Richard Warren of Centralia, Sandy Owens of Centralia, Karen Schaffer (Larry) of Sandoval, Connie Atteberry of Junction City and Debbie Kirgan of Centralia; and his siblings-in-law, Orus Cecil Cross of Reddick and Mary "Momma B" Benzschawel of Centralia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
