Betty Riechman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Riechman of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Riechman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hallie Ford and Estella Ford (Peters); her husband Richard Riechman; her sister Ramona Salisbury (Dick); and her nephew Josh Sloat.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Mark Riechman (Sharon) of Orland Park and Mary Riechman (Matthew) of Centralia; her granddaughters, Kiersten Rapplean (Ian) and Kendall Zavos (Konstandinos); her sister Debby Schippel of Centralia; and her nieces, Susan Kleinedler (Kurt), Patty Salisbury (Otto), Ashley Williams (Max) and Andrea Wolenhaupt. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Macz Funeral Home - Centralia (234 S Elm St, Centralia, IL 62801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Betty's honor to Centralia Humane Society.
