It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Malekovic of Centralia, Illinois, born in Brookfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Malekovic and Anna Malekovic (Pergl); and his siblings, George Malekovic, Helen Thomas, Violet VonHolt and Blanche Plunkett.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Malekovic of Centralia; his daughter Lori Edson (Terry) of Centralia; his granddaughter Ali Dahlquist (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Faith, Naomi, Austin, Levi, Jake and Misha; his grandson Nate Edson (Angie); his great grandchildren, Natalie, Rylee, Kalei and Marley; his granddaughter Leyna George (Joseph); his great grandchildren, Josiah, Matthias, Silas, Elias and Aliyah; his grandson Caleb Edson (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Jayda, Justus, Jai and Saydee; his son Reed Malekovic (Theresa) of Centralia; his granddaughter Sarah Ashford (Jason); his great grandchildren, Titus, Reed, Eilee and Mia; his granddaughter Annie Castleman (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Kaid, Hattie, Tillie and Jhovany; his grandson Albert A. Malekovic (Grace); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Jett and Tripp; his daughter Lisa Simpson (Dan) of Florida; his granddaughter Olivia White (Shane); his great grandchild Lira; his grandsons, Alex Simpson and Elijah Simpson (Lauren); and his great grandchild Lily. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
