With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Al Monti Minton of Centralia, Illinois, born in Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Al Monti Minton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Minton and Ruthie Minton (Lueker); his wife Judith Minton (Copple); his siblings, Sam Minton and Mary Anna Nollman; and his brother-in-law Don Copple.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry Minton (Pamela) of Ashley and Jeff Minton (Dana) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Julie Burchett (Brandon), Stacie Minton and Brian Minton; his sister Ruth Alice Younkers; and his sister-in-law Julie Copple. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Monti, memorial donations may be made to the Cornerstone Methodist Church or to Southtown Shalom Food Pantry and will be accepted by the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street in Centralia, Illinois 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Minton family.
