He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Blomberg and Grace Blomberg (Williams); his daughter-in-law Kathleen Schafer Blomberg; and his brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Horton. He is survived by: his wife Dee Blomberg of Cedarville, IL; his children, Don Blomberg of Freeport, Rex Blomberg (Kathy) of Freeport and Beth Wise (Scott) of Mendota, IL; his grandchildren, Erick Blomberg, Ben Blomberg, Mark Blomberg (Brittany), Garrett Wise, Cale Wise and Maren Wise; his great grandchild Winry Blomberg; and his sister Mary Sannwald of San Diego, CA..
