He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Wallis and Elva Wallis (DeWall); his former wife Patricia Jogerst; his half-siblings, Robert Borcherts, George Borcherts and Nelda Witte; and his sister Marie Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Collette Dyson (Roy) of Freeport and Leanette Marten (Ryan) of Wheeler, WI.; his wife Phyllis Moring; and his stepdaughters, Tina Boals (Jim) of Freeport, Tammy Olson (Brian) of McFarland, WI, Teresa Aspinwall (Craig) of Lena, Teri Heitkum (Dan) of Cedarville and Tiffany Marian of Freeport. He is also survived by ses 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren from his first marriage, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his name for the Cedarville UMC church.
