He is survived by: his wife Peggy Dixon; his son Richard Dixon (Sara); his grandchildren, Parker and Carson; his son Jeremy Dixon (Karla); his grandchildren, Jeremia and Mackynzie; his siblings, James Dixon (Sandy) and Linda Bigus (Greg); his parents-in-law, Mary and Orvin Schwartz; his siblings-in-law, Tim Schwartz, Pat Schwartz (Dawn), Vicky Schwartz and Kelley Cassels; and his friend Kay Woods. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
