It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Althea May Hornung of Cedarville, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Oswalt and Mabel Oswalt; her husband Richard "Dick" Hornung; her son David Lee; and her sisters, Marion Hansen, Betty Mellentine and Lorraine Hornung.
She is survived by: her sister Mildred Hunter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in her name for Parkview Memory Care Activities Department and the Friends Forever Humane Society.
