Lester Charles Cooley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Charles Cooley of Cedar Point, Illinois, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Charles and Lucille Cooley (Hough); and his sister Penny DeMoss (John). He is survived by: his wife Bonna Launius; his daughters, Colette Hays (David) of Glencoe and Cheryl Fenwick (Michael) of Peru; his grandchildren, Emily Henley (Michael), Caitlyn Brandner, Margaret "Maggie" Hays, Michael Brandner and Elizabeth Stosberg (Casey); his great grandchildren, Arya King, Kaycee King, David Henley and Charlie Lynn Brandner; and his sister Beverly Littrell (Larry) of LaSalle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family asks that those attending the visitation kindly wear a mask.
