He was predeceased by: his father Jack Walden; and his grandparents, Ladislaus "Honey", Mary Witek (Brongel), James Walden and Bess Walden (Hall).

He is survived by: his mother Jo Anne Walden of Cedar Point; his sister Tammy LaGow of LaSalle; his nephew Nicholas "Nick" LaGow; and his uncles, Dave Witek, Moira Witek of Peru, Alan Janusek of Western Springs, Inez Hyde of Georgia, Helen Benfield of Georgia, Steve Walden of Georgia and Becky Egert of Georgia. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
