He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Pennell and Zelpha Pennell; his brothers, Jarg Pennell (Veldene) and Glenn Pennell (Mary); his granddaughter Stormi Jo Pennell; his parents-in-law, Wilmetta and Charlie Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Elladee Martin (Thomas), Larry Osborn, Randall Dutton, Roger Buklew and Glen Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Pennell; his children, Troy Pennell and Sheila Kimes; his son-in-law Wayne Kimes; his granddaughter Adrienne Tripp; his grandson-in-law Dustin Tripp; his great grandchildren, Madison Hartline (Nathaniel Ross) and Charles Eli Ross; his siblings, Cleo Bucklew, Marlene Dutton, Bonnie Rose and Roy Pennell (Thelma); and his sisters-in-law, Loreta Osborn and Donna Griggs (Darrell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
