Leo Hohimer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2022, at the age of 79, Leo Hohimer of Cave in Rock, Illinois, born in Reed, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hohimer and Altha Hohimer (Chaney); his son Steven Leon Hohimer; and his brother Owen Douglas Hohimer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hohimer; his stepgrandson Josh Harper (Kelsey) of Zion, Kentucky; his great grandchild Lyla Marie Harper; his daughter-in-law Neeve Hohimer of Henderson, Kentucky; and his siblings, Alice Faye Carrier of Lake Wales, Charlotte (Mike Pritchett), Wanda Lou (Allen McDermott), Clyde Eugene (Wilma Hohimer) and Thomas Alan Hohimer of Henderson, Kentucky.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with several great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in Leo's memory may be made to the Cave In Rock Fire Department or to the Hospice of Southern Illinois.
