He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan Walter Denton and Velma Fern Denton; and his brothers, Jonathan Walter Denton Jr. and William Robert Denton. He is survived by: his wife Opal Denton; his daughters, Cathy Price (John) of Cave and Janet Hart (John) of Harrisburg, IL; his grandchildren, John Bradly Price (Michele) of Elizabethtown, IL, Brian David Price (Trisha) of O'Fallon, IL, Julie Beth Warren (Greg) of Rosiclare, IL and Maggie Lee Hart-Ray (José) of Savannah, GA; his siblings, James Gordon Denton (Mary Ellen) of Cave, Raymond Denton, Virgil Denton, Floyd Adrian Denton, Clifford Denton and Judy Wright; his cousins, Virgil "Radian" Denton and Joyce "Sissy" Willis; and his brother Softball Team. He is also survived by loving Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
