He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Yvonne (Nettro); his child Chèrie Whipple (Stephen); his brother Jack; his nieces and nephews, Steve, Debbie, Jamie, Melissa and Mark; his parents, Burt Joiner and Martha Thompson White; his brother-in-law Jack Gilkison; his friend Danny Rose; his sister Yvetta Gilkison; and also Herb Nevels (Gene Martin).
Mask and social distancing will be required for entrance into the funeral home.
His love of travel and history provided a rich foundation for his daughter.
