It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herb Nevels of Catlin, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Nevels and Ruth Jinkins Nevels; his children, Dr. Richard Nevels (Shannon) of Centerville, Indiana, Kathy Lawhorn (Jim) of Covington and Christy Corrington (Randy) of O'Fallon, Missouri; and his sister Ruth M. Engel of Chicago, Illinois. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
