He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hird and Lois Hird; his brothers, Robert and Thomas Hird; his half-sister Rozanne Hird; his spouse Vila "Lucy" Campbell; his children, Randy and Candy; and his grandchildren, Daniel Miller (Jenny), Aaron Hird (Amy), Brandon Hird (Jill), Andrew Miller (Emily), Denton Hird (Mariah), Rachel Miller Sherck (Chris) and Michaela Hallett.
