We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to David H. Sawyer of Catlin, Illinois, born in Sidell, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy David leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thomas and Hazel Miller Sawyer; and his brother Earl Tyrus Sawyer. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Willis (George) of Noblesville, Indiana; his grandsons, Jack David Hall (Hilary Mohs) and Zachary Joseph Hall; and his stepgrandsons, Philip George Willis and Mitchell William Willis.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Robison Chapel (103 Douglas St, Catlin, IL 61817). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter, 14775 Catlin Tilton Road, Danville, Illinois 61834.
