He was predeceased by: his parents, James Andrew Whitton and Edna Marie Whitton (Gilbert); his spouse Shirley Ann Crook; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Whitton (Boyd). He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Whitton (Sheree) of Martinsville, IL, Kathy Roberts (Greg) of Jewett, IL and Karri Brown (Thomas) of Marshall, IL; his grandchildren, Chase Whitton, Mitchell Whitton, Rowdy Roberts, Chance Roberts, Wyatt Roberts, Jessica Peppin and Jared Richardson; his great grandchildren, Lilyana Peppin, Brody Roberts, Whitley Roberts, Jakeb Richardson, Jude Richardson and Jonathan Richardson; and also Church. He is also survived by family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Casey First Christian Church (200 SE 8th St, Casey, IL 62420). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
