He is survived by: his wife Maria Bilenko; his daughters, Jennifer Salamh (Michael) and Annette Schmidt; his granddaughter Lexi Schmidt; and his sisters, Maria Kulasiveg (late Richard) and Helen Sonenberg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Assn.
