It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Skip Moore of Cary, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Skip farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Skip is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Moore and Helen Moore; his wife Cheryl; his children, Athena Deck (Nick) of Winona Lake, IN and Aaron Moore (Amanda) of Bonaire, GA; and his granddaughters, Zelda and Helena Moore. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Crystal Lake (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
