She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Pegenau and Carl T. Pegenau; and her husband Walter L. Basler. She is survived by: her half-siblings, Margaret Ann Grant of Australia and B. J. Felthause of California; her cousin Sandy Beglinger; her aunt Ruth Mengsol; and her close friends, Sue Kreibich, Tracy Padula, Peg Schwab and Hansen. She is also survived by many other friends and relatives.
