She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Vernon Higgins and Hildegard Sophia. She is survived by: her brothers, Daniel and James; her friend Lorraine; her spouse Vaughn Heidenreich; her children, Candy, Candace Kresmery (Marc), Dawn Hines and Curt Heidenreich (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Shannon Copeland (Chris), Ryan Passaglia (Amy), Tom Hines (Alyssa), Rebecca Hines, Samuel Hines Jessica (Shirley), Matthew Heidenreich (Samantha), Owen Heidenreich and Nicole MacDonald (Joe).

Phyllis loved animals, so in lieu of flowers, a donation to Animal House Animal Shelter in Huntley in her name would be loved and appreciated.
