Mary Papastefan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Mary Papastefan of Cary, Illinois, born in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Papastefan; her daughter Ellen Drivakos; her sister Evelyn Christian; her son-in-law Henri Kapelle; and her parents, John Dukakis and Efhimia Dukakis.

She is survived by: her children, Janet Kapelle and William Papastefan (Gwen); her grandchildren, Jennifer Thomas, Carolyn Anderson, Chad Pilcher, Melissa Kapelle and Andrew Papastefan; her sisters, Angie Dolly and Christine Dakos; and her goddaughter Renee Copeland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
