She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edwin Janssen and Marguerite Janssen; her children, Michael Nelson, Rick Nelson (Laura), Barbara Flowers (late George) and Carol Barnum (late Dave); her grandchildren, Jeff Nelson, Jennifer Salter (Sam), Tom Nelson, Natalie Nelson, Dan Flowers (Sara), Amy Flowers (Sarah), Stacey Emerton and Kristen Barnum; her great grandchildren, Lauren Flowers, Emma Flowers and Sam Salter, Jr.; her sister Ann LaRocca (James); her husband Robert Nelson; her daughter Catherine Nelson; and her brother Thomas Janssen.
