It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mari Riess (Cary, Illinois), who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Unterreiner and Magdalena Unterreiner; her husband Mathias Riess; and her siblings, Philip Unterreiner, Frank Unterreiner and Anna.
She is survived by: her children, Mathias Riess Jr. (Diane), Rosemary Webster (Leon), Susan Osterhaus (James) and Frank Riess (Colleen); her brother Joseph Unterreiner; her grandchildren, Michael, Thomes, Dawn, Susan, Robert, Thomas, Matthew, John and Ashley; and her great grandchildren, Anna, Joseph, Jonathan, Katherine, Emily, Chloe, Mathias, Dana, Brandon, Thomas, Woody, Grace, Andrew (Felix), Clayton, Lila and Rowan.
