It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Karp (Cary, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Joseph Huey and Ethel Huey; her daughters, Mary Ellen Karp of McHenry and Judi Garrelts (Bill) of Crystal Lake; her grandchildren, Melanie Garrelts of Aurora, CO, Austin Emery and Dana Emery; her son-in-law Rod Emery of Wonder Lake; her niece Betty Szwankowski of Crystal Lake; her sisters, Rose May of Arlington Heights, Joeann Eidsvoog of Cedar Falls and Pauline Lancaster of Norridge; her pet Roxie; her spouse Robert "Bob" Karp; her daughter Linda Emery; and her friend Barb Slusin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Underdog Rescue of Antioch, IL or to her family for the further education of her grandchildren.
