He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gratz and Norma Gratz; his sons, Edward James Gratz and Raymond Lee Gratz; and his sisters, Brenda Swason (Willard) and Pamela Bos.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hedges; his daughter-in-law Jeanette Gratz; his stepson Dean; and his brothers, Norman Gratz and David. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter.
