He was predeceased by: his parents, Olivine Walkington and Howard Walkington; and his siblings, Howard, Bob, Glenn, Caryl Clarke, Lois Hansen and Shirley Scheele.

He is survived by: his wife Lura Bennett Walkington; his sons, Dane, Bill (Cindy), Tod (Deb) and Rob (Kathi); and his sisters, Peggy Plimmer and Barb Marky. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, a dozen great grandchildren and a plethora of nieces and nephews.
