It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores LaVerne Serpe of Cary, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Radtke and Theresa Radtke; and her siblings, LaVerne Ropek and Richard Radtke. She is survived by: her husband Donald M. Serpe; her children, Donna Linsner (Michael), Daniel Serpe (Georgiann) and Diane Harris (Michael); her grandchildren, Lauren Hills (John Paul), Evan Linsner, Don Serpe, Dominique Haffery (Noah), Courtney DiMare (Kyle), Alec Klimowicz (Angelina) and Jennifer Klimowicz; and her great grandchildren, John Paul, Jr., Violet, John Daniel, Ezra Haffery and Luca DiMare.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Lake Zurich (941 S Old Rand Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A Mass was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (410 N 1st St, Cary, IL 60013).
